Site hasnt updated in years, I used it when it first came out then started noticing it was getting very inaccurate so I dropped it. On vacation this week so I thought I would try it again, used it 4 times and none of the places were where it said they were

I am living in Myanmar. While Aroundme isnt perfect, it does help find important places, i.,e., hospitals, pharmacies, etc

Seems like it not always finds what I am looking for. I seem to get better results using Google maps. Tried searching for Lowes Hardware and cant even search for it. This app should also allow you to pick the radius to broaden the search.

Similar to some of the reviews I use this app when I travel but often time when I get to the coffee shop or the gas station on the list of results, the business is no longer there! Im not sure why this app still exists when its sole purpose is to inform users accurately whats around them. This has happened not just once or twice but multiple times in multiple cities.

This was the first app I ever downloaded and it is my life saver!! I literally dont know where Id be if I didnt have it!

Very helpful Ap. Some info is a little out of date but that is likely the fault of the business owner and not the Ap. Highly recommend.

My go to site... Never really had any issues with this as long as they have the latest info on businesses that are open vs. closed down

When I went to write a review, at the request of around me, this popped up as the pre-cooked review. The sad thing is that I agree totally with it. This app has gone downhill, I fear probably because people are buying high positions. As the reviewer says, gas station listings are totally useless. And this tendency to put odd businesses ahead of nearby ones is increasing in all categories. Shame on whoever is ruining what was a fairly good app. "What happened to this once-fine app? It used to work great. Now it wont give me any of the 10-15 nearest gas stations, even when I have it set for distance. Is it only presenting folks who pay? (And way too many of its nearby restaurants have been closed for years!)"

I love seeing what cool attractions and historical sites are close to my route.

When I pull up restaurants near me I get occasional car dealers and spas. No way to properly label them since they were obviously mislabeled.

Checked out around me near my home. Some of the places listed no linger exist and have not for at least 5 years. Other places, that do exist, are not listed at all.

We use your app a lot and are using it now as we are going to u.p. of Michigan to Jackson hole Wyoming,Utah,Colorado then home to Michigan we use it for restaurants, gas,hotels etc. we love it it helps use a lot

It keeps giving me stores and locations that are closed!!

Around me is useful for finding restaurants but Im not sure its any better than Google. I consult it often, though.

I have had this app for years now, and I still use it frequently. A trustable wealth of information especially when youre not in a familiar area. I highly suggest this app!

Dont leave home without it! This is so perfect for wherever you go!

Why does the app default to "Walk" when beginning a route? Some busy metropolitan areas may need this but let the user create a default on their app. Efficiency is key, too many layers.

More times than not, this app has sent me off on a "wild goose chase"! Ive deleted it from my phone!

Always helpful to find restaurants and other merchants when Im in unfamiliar territory. Very easy to use!
